A home for people looking after their parents and their kids at the same time.
Most of what's written about aging parents assumes you're in a crisis. Most parenting advice assumes nobody else lives in your house. Neither fits the life of someone driving Mom to cardiology at 9 and picking up a ten year old at 3.
So we made a place for that life. Warm, honest stories. Guides you can actually finish. Tools that help you see the week clearly. And a few games, because it helps to laugh.
The Sandwichers is run by the same team as Home Happenings, our sister company. We serve the sandwich generation: adults balancing support for older parents and children. Read the definition and sourced statistics.

We link sources so you can check important claims. Named expert reviews appear only after the reviewer is confirmed; our launch guides currently show that review is not yet confirmed. Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice.
How we make money
Ads, sponsorships and some affiliate links. Sponsors never see or approve stories before they run.
Our sister company
We're run by the same team as Home Happenings, which books vetted local pros for in-home activities with older adults. Every mention is labeled.
Our editorial process
We start with a practical family question, check factual claims against reliable sources and separate suggestions from research findings. We show a content update date when a page changes meaningfully. Expert credentials and completed reviews must be confirmed before we name a reviewer. If you spot a mistake, send us a correction.
